There are a lot of obvious themes already developing... The relevance of art in an advanced society is the most prominent imo.

haha. funny
:(

See URL for my theory about the theme.

There seems to be a lot of talk about bigger and better things, advancing into the future, etc. Not quite sure beyond that.

so, we guess at what the theme is this time?

I get this feeling that these people don't place the same significance on the 3D plane as we do... if there are any webby people out there, it reminds me of the difference between someone who only uses flat HTML files for their website (their entire website IS their frontend, and it will be destroyed if those flat files are lost or ruined) and someone who uses a database (the frontend 'display' files are merely decoration and can be easily replaced; the real meat of the site comes from the database). Like they torched the frontend of Earth as a warning without realizing we don't have a 'database' to reload from ("They had to at least have a network present...?")

That would also explain why they have such a huge and abstract ship; if they have easy control over the 3D plane, they could make just about anything they want.

Techniess aside, I sure hope their copy works well. These guys are kind of horrible.

Also, Zach, although it is confusing I love how genuinely alien their technology looks. It's fun to watch.

so.. did they blow up the Earth then make a copy for any particular reason other than maybe making an example of their power?
5 . by: conzeit March 29, 2012, 1:11 am

what? I was sure they'd blown up a copy earth...and feeling all self congratulatory about knowing that was what would happen :p...I guess not. This is kinda reading to me like there's a gaia spirit that was helping all the creatures materialize their factures before, and they tapped into it intuitively, but these Cyclops guys have it all sistematized. Feels like these Cyclops dudes are a metaphore for the western civilization vs more indigenous cultures...

I have no idea what the deuce is going on, man. ._. THE JARGON. It reminds me that I'm feeling light-headed.
