Secretary Prime, Second Edition

Secretary Prime, the second edition, has been released. This is a budget release that should be easier to afford. It’s the regular edition of Secretary Prime that was originally canceled a year ago. The quality isn’t as luscious as the special edition, but it’s still very nice, with something even the special edition didn’t have: laminated covers.

Printing is being handled by the independent comics printer Ka-Blam. This means that orders won’t be filled by me directly, so I can’t send out postcard sketches. Shipping also can’t be free this time, but the full set shouldn’t cost more than $75 if you live in the contiguous 48 states of the US.

As each book is printed to order, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.

The re-issuing of 10%+ should be next. However, due to the medical state of an immediate family member, this work may be delayed.

Take care.

Wow! That was like $50 less than the special edition. Are there any real differences content-wise?

Also, I’m sorry about your family situation, Zack. You take care too.

  2. Zack says:

    Hey Nobody,

The regular edition lacks SV’s transformation at the end of volume 1, because it was changed to a black and white book. (Without color, the meaning is lost.) Additionally, some of the panels have been moved around in order to account for the slightly different format. The front and rear covers are different, as well as the small pictures on page 1. The two spelling errors were also corrected. The dedication at the end of volume 4 is also different.

Other than these items, and the production quality, it’s the same as the first edition.

  3. Stephanie says:

Looking forward to the eventual 10%+ re-issue.

Sorry to hear about your family member, wishing you the best.

  4. Shannon says:

Excellent! It will finally be mine….wish I could have purchased the Special Edition, but I’m sure this version will be just as amazing.

  5. Zack says:

Thanks Shannon, I hope you like it!

And I almost forgot: “Lizard scales” was finally replaced with “seed kernels,” which was the same idea but much more cogent now.
